hitzailaro
hitzailaro is a polyonom created on 27th August 2023.
It is an amalgam of the Basque “hitza” = word + Esperanto “ilaro” = toolkit or collection of tools.

Meaning – guidance on the practices associated with the methods for creating and disseminating a polyonom.
Background
A friend who knew of my work with polyonoms approached me to create a word for a web-based initiative he wanted a name for.
I offered a selection of five from which he chose “webilaro”.
He asked if I had thought of providing what I had done for him as a service and/or a “How To” product….
…which led me to create potential polyonoms for that purpose.
This is why “hitzailaro” came into being and was added to the lexicon of web vocabulary.
